Beta Arcade

This was another group module consisting of programmers, designers, artists, technical game development students and an animator in order to understand the procedures within the game development process and the importance of discipline for large teams working within a software production process. Our team worked in Unity to make a 2 player, split-screen game with a woodland and fairy tale theme where the players have to collect gems while avoiding hazards and each other. 

In this project I implemented the sounds and music for the game and visual effects. I created a sound manager script and used cases to implement sounds for the players, the gems and the weapon. For the visual effects, I created an explosion for the acorn and I used shadergraphs to create outlines for the players when they pick up a power-up but they did not make it into the final game.
